Are researchers not always a little bit confined in their world? I would say yes. So, being confined, and i completely approve of that decision by the French government, is not a huge game changer for a researcher. Or, actually, it is.... there is much less pressure, deadlines have been moved, job interviews are cancelled, administrative tasks are delayed, and you save time getting to your office. You office is at home and all the cancelled meetings actually allow you to finally catch up with all those interesting articles you always wanted to read, but did not get around to.
